Tumalo Feed Co - Bend

My family and I just drove through the way to Portland and we were told by some different locals to try Tumalo Feed Company on the way out of town. Let me say I've never heard of it before I came to town, so I had no expectations. When we went to the parking lot, I was a little worried because it was PACKED! We actually had to park on a back road and go down, which is no big deal at all. I expected to wait at least one hour after the parking lot, but was sitting immediately. The building itself is massive! At least two or three dining rooms and a fantastic bar or salon as they call it! We had the most beautiful waitress and the food came out incredibly fast. Everything on the menu looked delicious, but everyone on my table always ended steaks, and let me tell you it wasn't disappointed! Everything was perfectly cooked and the amount of food you get for the price is worth it! You get to choose two different sides with each duck, so we all ended up with rests for the long trip home. I was told by some people to try this place, but had no idea that it would be a new goal! We will come back to the city next month and will definitely be back in.

Went for my bday...12oz New York, macaroni, loaded baked potato, grilled shrimp. Steak was cooked perfectly medium/rare and seasoned wonderfully. Bartender was awesome and attentive.

I'll do this! This is an amazing small institution that is relaxed and yet stylish at the same time. We had a server I think Daniel is, but if I have the name wrong, I'm sorry! He had worked in the kitchen several times before he served and he knew the food and drinks like the back of his hand. He made the best recommendations and gave us the best service. He recommended the main rib cooked rarely and let me tell you. it was the best steak I ever had. We also got the Calamari and steamed mussels of the Calamari is so delicate, unlike the normal chewing pieces I usually get in other restaurants. Anyway, I could go on... this place has my heart, I'm just gonna rely on it.

We love it here! One of us always gets the stuffed cod (because it's incredible!! And the other chooses something else on the menu, and we share! The service is always wonderful and accommodating. Everything we had here was full of taste and beautifully presented! We always bring friends or family from the city here because we have never been disappointed and it is such a jewel in Central Oregon, nothing but it! Your cocktail menu is unique and great!

Beautiful culinary experience. Hubby enjoyed the ****. My chicken Marsala was pretty good, well cooked and tasteful. Potatoes tasty. The dinner salad was fresh and pickled beet was a nice addition. Many families came in to enjoy a meal together. Nice menu selection. We're coming back here.
