El Rancho Grande Mexican - Bend

Went here while in town on business. It was a good spot for great food! Highly recommend!

Good experience. First time eating Mexican food in Oregon.

Love this place every time. Great food, great people work there. Very enjoyable. Heard they had a South Bend location but went here as we know what we will get. Parking: Bit of a walk from parking, feels good after dinner.

We ordered take out for tonight and the service was great. We got two dinner entrees, enchiladas and shrimp cocktail. There was lots of food. It is traditional American/mexican food. The inside restaurant looked really nice hopefully next time we will eat in. I probably should have a salad. I would make one suggestion and that is to salt the chips. They were super bland and even with the salsa I did not enjoy them.

Walked in and was not greeted by the hostess who then rolled her eyes before taking us to our table, there were only four of us. Our server was also less than enthusiastic about taking care of us, slammed down the hot sauces we asked for, clearly did not want to be helping us. Then there was the food, carnitas fajitas were dry and looked old, the tortillas were also dry and not warm. One of the kids got chicken strips and fries, the fries came out hard as rocks and looked like they had been sitting under the warming light for hours. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 8 years and I hate complaining but I asked for a manager and it turned out that the manager was the grumpy guy serving us, he did comp the two meals that we complained about but did not change his attitude at all, I was very polite and apologetic to him and he did not seem to care. After leaving all four of us are sick.
