Chi Chinese Sushi - Bend

My husband and I love coming to CHI. The food is always amazing. Sesame chicken is by far the best! The veggie spring rolls were also amazing. Tonight I had the best server ever, Tasha was great. She ensured that my water was always full and was so attentive even during a very busy hour in the restaurant. Thank you Tasha!

I've been to this establishment at least twice now and every time I am so happy it is so relaxing they have amazing food if you don't want to go all the way to a port town to get sushi if you've never tried octopus they have an amazing appetizers that you can do they're a little on the pricey side but if you're going there for a business expense or to catch up with family members or even just to go out to drink I recommend the iced tea and The dumpling Tower.

This place was busy! Good to see. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the food. My wife ordered sushi and while it was tasty and fresh, it was poorly made. The ends had big chunks of cucumber sticking out of the end as well as each end of the sushi roll was about twice the size of a normal size piece of sushi. She didn't even eat the ends because they were too big to fit in her mouth. I ordered Unagi sushi which was very delicious and the crispy pan fried noodles. The noodle dish was satisfactory. It was a bit too saucy and one dimensional. We also ordered the dumpling tower for an appetizer. The dumplings were clearly made from frozen but still pretty tasty and well steamed.

We spent a whole day in Bend which wasn’t originally on our itinerary. We were so amazed and impressed by the beautiful scenery around the little town, Old Mill District. We also discovered a fancy Chinese Sushi Bar restaurant, CHI. The food was delicious and high-quality. It’s highly recommended. BTW, CHI serves dim sum on the last Sunday of each month. We just happened to be there the right time for dim sum. Every single dish was made by family members delicately, especially the pastries. We couldn’t deny to come back for dinner. A big thank to Howie and family (the owner) for the special treat! We also would like to thank 雯 and Nhỏ. Without you two it wouldn’t happen.

Their crab purses are DELICIOUS! Their sushi is amazing, and their Creme Brule was absolutely outstanding. The staff was incredibly nice, and very attentive. And it's not remotely as expensive as I thought it would be! Highly recommend!
