Brother Jon's Public House - Bend

Really good food. Delicious blueberry cider. Wonderful service.

We have loved going to Brother Johns for years and sadly after last night we will never return. We had the worst service imaginable. When we were seated we were told the kitchen was swamped and food would be slow but drinks were guaranteed to be rolling out. Unfortunately that wasn't the case at all. We had to ask for everything for our meal. We had to walk up and ask for drink refills multiple times, silverware for our food, leftover boxes, and our check. Our server never came to our table to check on us after she took our orders. Throughout the 2 hours we were there waiting for food and drinks we watched 5 other tables that arrived after us come and go. Even the last few times we have dined at brother Johns the service has continued to get worse every time we go.

Wow! How have we missed Brother Jon's in all of our visits to this area? Excellent food (ribs, burgers, salad), great service (so welcoming to our group), and great value. We'll absolutely be back! Thanks Brother Jon's!

Overall was a great experience. Loved the food and staff were amazing. Some of the locals caused a little hiccup with being super load next to our table and yelling to others in the restaurant. Other than that it was a great place to eat. Kid-friendliness: Allowed kids in and the staff were great with our kiddos

Amazing local secret! Great food and big portions, fresh squeezed cocktails and diligent service. A must-visit in the heart of Bend. Two sets of specials every day, tons of TVs for sports and great patio seating for the dog. Fell in love with this place and will always be my first recommendation to anyone who visits!
