Delicious food!! Was happy with the portion size as I have read reviews on places that charge a lot for a tiny portion.. nothing to complain about here.
Absolutely blown away by the ahi tuna nachos, I’ve never had anything like this before and It was probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Keep up the good work guys, I’ll definitely be back!
A quick search of fast casual healthy options in Bend, OR yielded another Hawaiian restaurant, although we didn't complain because we had already seen this story play out in Medford, OR with fantastic results. Aina isn't by definition a restaurant; it's a food truck. Based on my recent viewing of Everybody Feed Phil in Portland, OR, the state recognizes and supports food truck culture. I fully support this too, seeing that more food competition gives customers better food at better prices. In some cities, such as Chicago, the food trucks are lined up on streets, but only at designated times and locations. In Oregon, and at Aina's location in particular, the food trucks surround the backside of a brewery, effectively creating a food truck backstop with artfully placed tables in between. My wife and I ordered two poke bowls, one spicy and one crunchy. They both had high quality fresh ingredients along with enough heft, weight, and rice on the bottom to fill us up. It was not hard to see how Aina had won a best food truck in Central Oregon award.
