The Old Duck - Benalmádena

Beautiful small bar, reasonable price drinks, good eating and tw for foot. what more could you want. inside and outside seat

We wanted to see the game. large, friendly service. had the cakes and chips and was not disappointed. good basic foods to appropriate trips. would find that little cash again.

I'm not a sportsman, but if I were, that would be my bar of choice in benalmádena. but even if I'm not, I'd come for the warm welcome and the good food. all from a doorstep sandwich to an annoying, from a...Tapa to a rippchen or a Sirloin steak. I knew it back a few years, and it's still there! and for one in the ground British bar the coffee is excellent!

It would be easy to pass by this little bar, tucked in a corner. However, if you enjoy good British food I would recommend The Old Duck. The food is good and the portions are generous. It's a family run bar and has a very...good reputation locally.

Sat outside and had some food and a bottle of wine. People coming and going all the time. Some playing pool and some just at the bar chatting. Service was friendly and very quick. The people were friendly. A taxi driver gave us his card...for future use. We had a tapas mix and it was all lovely. I write this report because it was particularly nice that there was something a bit different for a veggie other than the usual omelette or veggie lasagne. They had a cheesey mash bake and it was heaven. We really enjoyed our evening here and for a princely sum of less than euros we had a nice meal and a litre bottle of wine. We will most certainly return. Nice people here had just taken on a gorgeous rescue dog too so that was my holiday complete!
