Wow!! Firstly, I'd like to say thank you so much to our lovely waitress and the very welcoming lady behind the bar. We actually came here by mistake, but we're so glad we did. My husband and I had the set menu, both had different choices, and everything was spot on! Our desserts, apple crumble and custard, were delicious. Seriously, we couldn't fit them in at the time, so we took them home and had for out lunch the following day!! Excellent value for money. See you soon and thanks again guys
A very disappointing experience, we fancied a steak and onion pie, how could you get that wrong ? It came completely undercooked , like if was encased by freshly prepared pastry( probably dozen) just a pile of mush. One of the quietest bars in the area, not suprised
Great food cooked fresh lovely staff. Could not fault food , service or staff We will return again What a lovely friendly atmosphere.
My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around Ibensa Square when we decided to drop into The Halfway Inn. A really nice pub ,interior is traditional, dark wood features, a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling square. We sat outside were we ordered beers, served freezing cold, we chilled out and soaked up the sun while we sipped our beers. Beers in here were lovely, iced cold and sparkling, very easy to drink,it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother Stephen, best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time, its easy to locate on Ibensa Square, a square and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
