Restaurant Bar Meson Pepe

Located along Avenida Antonio Machado on Plaza Los Porches is El Meson, a tavern I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this sun drenched resort. A great looking Spanish tavern, interior is superb, an island style serving bar dominates the main room, dark wooden tables and chairs, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this tavern both inside and outside, its a great place to unwind in. We sat outside as temperatures were hitting the mid 90's, we ordered bottles of Mahou green beer, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the sun while we sipped our beers. A big fan of this famous beer from the Madrid region of Spain, light and hoppy, bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served iced cold as in this tavern, it was just so good being in such a lovely tavern and enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother Stephen ,best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. El Meson is easy to locate along Avenida Antonio Machado and is well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Ate a lot of meals here over the last week. We are English and have got to say the food was brilliant. Chips are proper cut from potatoes and the English breakfast was English bacon/ sausage etc. very good value for money and friendly staff.

El Meson is a great Spanish bar my twin brother Stephen and I always look forward to visiting on any trip near Los Porches we take . A great looking bar ,interior is superb ,a cool looking island style serving bar dominates the main room ,great decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options both inside and outside ,it's a great bar to chill out in. We ordered a vodka and coke each ,these arrived on our table ,big measures ,we chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. Vodka and coke made a nice change from my usual tipple of beer,very refreshing indeed ,it was just so good being in such a great bar enjoying a quality drink. We really enjoyed our vodka and cokes in here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. El Meson is easy to locate along Avenida De Antonio Machado . Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

My daughter had chicken wings with chips, she really liked the chips. My wife and I shared the seafood platter, ham and garlic bread. We ordered way too much, the seafood platter was brilliant, it was not greasy and was not covered in batter. The ham was just lovely. We will be back before we go home.

Very friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed many a lunch and dinner. Was able to sample tapas for free with every drink. Location not great but food more then made up for it.
