Thai Villa - Benalla

We have been getting take away from the Charcoal Chicken shop for some years - writing a review on the Thai Villa site as there is not one for the chicken shop.While some items, such as chicken schnitzel rolls are generally good, the chips they serve are highly variable, depending on the staff who are cooking them. Some staff they employ clearly don't know what they're doing. Generally, 1 out of 3 meals will have chips that are either almost raw potato or are burnt to a crisp/greasy. As we're 15 minutes out of Benalla, we decide not to take them back because of the effort involved (but we really should). We keep going back because the other menu items or generally OK.Until tonight. Had a take away meal from them tonight, and for the second time consecutively we have been served raw potato chips. And the Chicken Parma meal - the parma was burnt to crisp and dry. Just really not good enough.That's it for us Delatite Charcoal Chicken. Never again.

We had the fried rice rotti bread with yummy peanut dipping sauce also the red curry vege spring rolls and don't forget to ask for the honey chicken with sweet and sour sauce on the side absolutely amazing. Will definitely be coming back!

We had vegetarian stir fried and curry and both were delicious. They were large portions and full of freshly cooked vegetables.

Authentic Thai and Chinese cuisine at bargain prices. Sharing a few dishes among 4 is plenty of food to go round. We visit weekly and often just share 1 dish with rice.

Fantastic Thai food. You can ask for the food to be as hot, or as mild as you want it. ( I like hot)
