Love Swiss pantry! visited for years. they serve deli type sandwiches and suppen for lunch and with a small but diverse selection of fresh food items and their charming baked goods and tasty. it is my understanding that this place was started by the family miller who have a Swiss and mennonite background. the people who work on the Swiss pantry were always very pleasant and helpful about the cutting of my many, many visits. one of the younger coworkers welcomed us, answered our asking and agreed to make us lunch while it was a bit early (about 10:45). while we waited for our sandwiches to be made, we took our time, all the beautiful and delectable were to be confusing for sale. I have lined on some super tasty looking brote of all kinds of aromen (cochdar jalapeño, zimt rosin, sourdough, etc), took in the fresh cheese and meat, and admired the regale dedicated bakery: all kinds of different meals, bake chocolate, toppings and more. they should also sell mais flour, pfancake blend and a cool thing that I saw for the first time today were some dip mixes: small containers of various flavors and spices with instructions to combine them to a delicious dip. both sweet and savory options were available (e.g. dill, speck ranch, lemon cheesecake, caramel apple). really cool! would like to try. I tried to keep my daylight, so I decided to be a simple grilled cheese with chips and a soda can. it was just a shadow over $6, which is pretty good for lunch in these days, especially when the brot soou was good. there was a tonne cheese on the sandwich and it melted to gooey perfection on slightly acidic, perfectly chewing sourdough. this place is definitely worth a trip if they are not out of the opposite. combine them with a trip if mill for a nice afternoon. my last tip: one of my favorites here is her fleased heel. two slightly soft, slightly crunchy, perfectly cinnamony oatmeal cookies around creamy, silky filling. Don't miss it!
This place has everything your pantry will need plus tons of great baked goods!
Have loved this place for a long time. We go as often as we can because they have things other stores don't.We haven't been in a while and we're kinda shell shocked at how the prices has gone up. They had some new items and stillost of the ones we were used to getting. I was hoping in the jam section I would find some cantaloupe jam or jelly. They had a lot of different flavors but not this one. I have looked everywhere I go for it.I first seen it at the Amish town we went to and got a jar. Wish we had gotten more as it is really good.If you want specialty items and fresh products the Swiss Pantry is where to go.
Love this store! Loved the Brunswick Stew, the boiled custard is so good, and the donuts are amazing!!! We stop here everytime we pass through the area.
