Sam's Pizza - Belvidere

Every time I come home I order a pizza from Maria’s first before unpacking.I’ve ordered pizza from coast to coast and I’ve yet to find anything even close to what Maria’s has been turning out night after night for decades. I don’t know what secret technique, recipe or ingredients they use but it’s something nobody else has discovered and it’s pure magic.

They did not follow my instructions when ordering and therefore since more than one piece was taken out of the pizza box they would not refund nor would they bring the pizza that was ordered. as you can see by the slice there is hardly any sauce on the requested extra sauce side of the pizza. will not go there again.

I order 4 Meza Luna (half a moon) it was very delicious ????

Our pizza was delicious. The crust so good. We order a deep dish pizza. The service was very good (they were short staffed (only one cook) so out waitress was a little girl -maybe five or six years old. She was great!! More professional and attentive than adult waitresses The only reason I gave them four stars, was the wait. But, again, they were short staffed. The place does need a little upgrade. But The food was great though, so we are definitely coming back!

Probably the best pizza in Belvidere. Plus they are inexpensive
