Well found. My parents actually put me on this little Hamburg stand. There is only enough space to park a few cars and the places to eat are two picnic tables around the back in a shaded area. They use fresh meat daily and make their own grinding and fixing agents. The word is when Crow runs out of meat for the day, they close. So, make sure you get there earlier if you want to check it. You can order via a walk-in window or drive-thru. I ordered the walk-up because it was a nice, Texas spring day and I wasn't in a hurry. I ordered the #1, which is a single meat patty cheeseburger, all the way with mustard, pickles, chopped onions and tomatoes. It comes with a big pommes and drink for $6.25. The taste and freshness of all ingredients of the burger were great. The frits of a larger cut, but not greasy. Next time I plan to order the double cheeseburger and add grilled onions. I would highly recommend this place. Friendly, great tasting, central Texas food.
Best REAL burgers around : and in reality I mean the fat but not too fat real beef patents that really smell and taste like beef. Did I mention that they are huge?! Service is always great and you can't help, but smile at Mom Pop walking on stands. Total beams from the past
20% of the people who voted on crowds are obviously left behind. That's the best burger I ever had. Better than Hut's, Hill's Cafe, Dirty's, Dan's/Fran's (all in Austin); better than Tommy's, Fred's and Kincaid's (FW); better than Health Camp and Cupp's (Waco)... The patty is hand-shaped and plastered and thinly pressed on the edges for a nice Charage. Put some bacon, salad, tomatoes and cucumbers on it, and you're all set. The Pommes are not special, but they are not bad. The Shakes are fantastic.
Old fashioned burgers: greasy and fantastic. No seating so you'll be taking it to go but it's a favorite bring-back for office lunches. Don't miss out on the shakes.
