The Old School Tea Room - Belstone

We visited this restaurant last summer and were just reminded of our experience! They kindly opened their doors for us a bit earlier when we showed up tired and hungry after a weekend of camping. The lemon cake was the best I’ve ever had. I’d give it 5 stars plus!

Absolutely fantastic! It's a beautiful tearoom with a cozy log burner. The cakes are amazing, and the owners are incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended when visiting the area!

The tearoom offers stunning views of Cosdon Beacon, and there's a cozy log fire to keep everyone warm. The selection of homemade cakes is lovely, and they also have a great array of local crafts for sale—I'm particularly fond of the sheep tea cosies and kisses. I'll definitely be returning. This was my first time finding it open, as I usually take my walks earlier in the day. It was such a delightful surprise to find the tearoom welcoming after my long stroll through the moors. I would give it six stars if I could! The food and drink are not only excellent but also good value for money. It's definitely worth a visit!

Brilliant little tee kitchen in a stunning beautiful village! friendly staff and beautiful cream tee with the jam from gooseberries made this a great stop at a hot and humid day! good that you come in!

Loved it! Tiny and quirky, with knitted tea and coffee cosies. Friendly and welcoming staff, and eased they had soya milk and labelled food items that were Gluten Free or Vegan.
