Last frozen feijoada, bem tempered and tasteful. Senti a falta de uma couvezinha pra acompanhar, mas otimo pra complete um almoço ou ter frozen em casa.

This restaurant is situated in a lovely, spacious house with seating available indoors or outdoors. In addition to their regular menu, they offer a daily lunch special, with the exception of Saturdays (tropeiro) and Sundays (feijoada), which remain the same each week. I visited on a Saturday specifically to try the tropeiro and it did not disappoint! The service was quick, the portion size was generous, and the dish was incredibly flavorful. While the rice and kale were nothing extraordinary, the tropeiro itself was delicious, well-seasoned, and filled with tasty meat. The side salad and chips were also tasty. For dessert, the only option was mousse, so I opted for chocolate and strawberry. The chocolate was decent, but the strawberry mousse was absolutely delightful - creamy and bursting with flavor. Overall, I highly recommend Villaveg for a taste of local cuisine. The lunch special is affordable and definitely worth trying!
