Ma Po Charcoal BBQ Korean Restaurant

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is enjoyable, although slightly outdated. Prices are on the higher side, with an average cost of $80 to $100 for two people.

This restaurant is amazing. The portions are huge and the service is excellent. There were three of us dining together. It was my first time trying Korean BBQ and the lady working there was very helpful. Even though we live quite far away from the restaurant, we will definitely be returning.

Both the beef and pork marinated ribs were amazing! And for 2 of us we were very full and couldn’t finish all the sides! Decent priced, $56 for the 2 meats, a serve of rice each and a drink each plus all the included sides which felt like good value. There was a slight language barrier but that didn’t cause any problems the staff all very helpful with cooking the meats and frequently changed the grills. The sides were good, my husband and I are new to Korean BBQ so where sure what they all were but gave them each a go, some where weren’t fans and some were good. I’m looking forward to returning in the future with some friends or family so we can order some more meat variety to share :

This place is quite busy during the weekend. It is buzzing with people who are enjoying the meat cooked over the charcoal fire. They provide side dishes which is included in the price and they are refilled (within reason). There is marinated and non marinated meat and they are both great! This is an authentic Korean BBQ place and should be checked out if you love a good Korean BBQ!

The BBQ combo is delicious and the side dishes are outstanding. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. This is definitely one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in Sydney. I will definitely be returning.
