Lucky Star - Belmont

I was recommended Lucky Star by a friend and I'm so glad we tried it out. The delivery was fast, the food was tasty, and there was plenty for everyone. We've been searching for a nearby restaurant that has what we like, and Lucky Star fit the bill. They were able to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions, which is something we haven't experienced at other places. I highly recommend giving them a try.

This restaurant is cozy and inviting, we were surprised by how small it was, but also not surprised at the same time. The decor is simple, and the prices for the food are very reasonable. We ordered the Szechuan Tofu and Garlic King Prawns. The dishes were just okay, nothing too special. They also offer a lunch special for $5, which is a great deal. This place is perfect if you're looking for a quick takeaway or a simple meal.

We ordered our meal online and picked it up for dinner. The honey chicken was delicious with sesame seeds on top! The fried rice was a bit bland, but overall it was a fantastic meal. Thank you! The staff were following the COVID mandate by wearing masks correctly, which was great to see.

I used to love ordering food from Star of Happiness - the food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately, since Menulog took over the delivery service, they no longer deliver to Ostvicpark, so now I am outside of their delivery zone. This is very disappointing, especially since they still appear as an option when I enter my postcode. I reached out to Menulog about this issue, but they have not taken any action to rectify it. I now browse their menu with a sense of longing, knowing I can't have a delivery from there and I don't have a car for takeout. Please bring back Ostvicpark to their delivery area - I miss them!

We really enjoyed our order from Lucky Star through Uber Eats! The sushi rolls were fresh and crunchy with a delicious vegetarian filling and a sweet yet savory sauce. The honey chicken was tasty, with just the right amount of coating and plenty of sauce. The fried rice was also well done. We also tried the beef black bean dish, which had slightly chewy beef but a heavenly thick and savory sauce. We would definitely order from this restaurant again.
