Highton Fish & Chips - Belmont

Craved a greasy hit on the road. Easy flake minimum chips the order on quiet weekday at noon. Fish was fairly good but chips disappointed by little ‘bits’ (threw out 1/4).

We had really good food here in the mid week BUT come rush hour it was well under cooked when we arrived home.

We don't get fish and chips often, but when we do we always go to Highton, knowing we can safely order gluten free without risk of having our meal contaminated with gluten! They're also tasty and cook a good fish!

Small shop and very difficult to see and read menu to order. Great variety though of choices and for a gluten intolerant person. Service was average just couldn't get our order right. Good was very good quality but inconsistent considering my wife and I got the same pack. Hers had dim Sims in it and I had potato cakes??! Was very good except the calamari was overcooked and very oily. Reasonably priced and generous portions.
