Falafelle - Belmont

I ordered the combo meal, and while it was filling, I wasn't particularly impressed. The falafels ended up being a bit too soft after soaking in the sauce. I found the beets and tomato mix unappetizing, as everything was overly wet from the excess liquid. My favorite part was the baba ganoush—it was creamy and flavorful, especially when paired with the soft, thick pita. Definitely give that a try. And yes, baklava is available too!

This restaurant is a cozy, unpretentious spot that feels slightly more than just a hole-in-the-wall. I noticed they offered falafel and vegetarian dishes, so I decided to try their signature bag, complete with all the toppings and avocado. The flavors were incredible! I was so impressed that I returned for a second visit and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for unique vegetarian options. A year later, during the pandemic, I went back and found that the quality was still excellent, the service had improved, and the taste remained exceptional.

Special appreciation :Provident Credit Union Staff give me the recommendations about Falafelle, I love it when I 1st try it yesterday. I got Baba Ghannouj?????????????Hummus??????????? Falafel??????????I love them all???the Pita bread are so soft simple yummy, it?s only $1.25 each, beside dipping with Hummus baba ghannouj, I took it home, add some BBQ , some veggie, sour cream and a sunny-side egg awww, it?s just amazing.

Peninsula's best falafel salad outlet. Friendly staff and timely service will keep you bringing back to this little gem in Belmont (not so hidden, given the popularity). But more importantly, the falafel, the zing of the fresh and pickled veggies and creaminess of the hummus and babaganoush is unmatched in a combo meal which sets you back by only 12-13 bucks. Seating at the spot is scarce, but you can always pick food and picnic at the adjacent Twin Pines Park.

I give this place 5 stars! Normally, I don't lean towards Mediterranean cuisine, but my wife insisted I give it a try. She was absolutely right! I loved the variety of options they offered. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and their falafel balls are made to order, served piping hot. I opted for a pita pocket, which made it easier to eat, and I chose my own toppings, including fresh salad, red onions, and pickles. They even offer the option to make it spicy if you want. The mango milk looked tempting, but I decided to save it for my next visit. This is a fantastic spot for a quick Mediterranean meal!
