Enoteca Il Piacere - BELLUNO

I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant, just out of the centre of town. We are an Australian couple and we had lunch here after finishing the Alta Via 1. We ended up loving it so much that we went back for dinner that same night, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. The owner is warm, welcoming and she goes to great lengths to make her guests comfortable. Instead of ordering off the menu, we asked for the traditional experience and the owner simply cooked her specialties for us. The food was excellent and was easily some of the best we ate in Italy eggplant parmigiana, tagliolini with walnuts, asparagus risotto, carne salada and profiteroles, together with wonderful bottle of white wine. If you are in Belluno you really must eat a meal here. You won't be disappointed.
