Ho Ho - Bells

First and last time I'll ever eat here. Food was good, but the cost was not equal to the quality. $3 for water? I think someone is trying to go out of business. Don't be fooled by the other reviews about the egg rolls, they were just ok.

We have been going to Ho Hos for well over 30 years. Other than Mr. Ken, Ms. Orchid, and the building aging, it still looks and feels the same. The egg rolls, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Spicy Chicken lo mein, Nut and Beef and several other things on the menu are fantastic. Give it a try if you're in the area.

I am disappointed after hearing great things about this restaurant. Despite trying it today, I will not be returning. The food was average and extremely overpriced. There was a $5 charge to substitute fried rice for white rice, so I opted for chicken with rice instead. The fried rice was disappointing, with raw vegetables and an oily texture. They even charged for water and a slice of lemon. The restaurant had a strange smell when I walked in. I hope they have success in their business, but I will not be back. I give it 2 stars only because the young man who took my order was friendly and attentive.

I am sorry to say that today was my first and last time at this restaurant. It was too expensive, and the food was disappointing. I had high hopes for a good meal, but the chicken roast rice was not roasted at all - the chicken was overcooked, the rice was bland, and the vegetables were undercooked. The egg rolls were okay, but not enough to make up for the main dish. I did not try any other menu items, but I will not be returning to this restaurant.

This was our first and last time dining at this restaurant. We were shocked to see that they charged $13 for a serving of rice. Additionally, we ordered the sweet and sour buns and only received 6 small pieces for $13. Our total bill came to $70, which we felt was excessively high considering the portion sizes and quality of the food. We could have gotten twice as much food for the same price at a better Chinese restaurant. Overall, the dining experience was not worth the high price tag.
