Whiskey By John Howie - Bellevue

What a delightful experience! I made reservations a few days in advance to celebrate my wife 's birthday. I called twice to make sure we would get a window side table. However, when we got there we were sat at a 'meh ' table although there was clearly a window side table available. I did not let that get to my head and moved on with the experience. Customer service is absolutely amazing, courteous people with a lot of knowledge about anything you may have questions about. My wife ordered an 8oz filet mignon and I ordered a 16oz 48-day custom aged rib eye steak, we got a side of the lobster mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. I had never in my life experienced such a deliciously well-prepared meal, both of our steaks were prepared to perfection with a toasty outside sear and juicy inside. These steaks simply melt in our mouths. Back to the experience and ambiance of the place: fantastic! at least 3 people congratulated my wife for her birthday and although we were insanely full they insisted on giving her a courtesy desert that they packed for us to eat later. I was pleased with everything about this experience and I hope to come back soon.

My daughter wanted the best steak in town for her 11th birthday and John Howie provided an unforgettable experience for her. On our reservations we had marked it was for her 11th birthday and throughout the meal different employees came by and wished her a happy birthday. She ordered the Ribeye and was not disappointed at all, with plenty of leftovers for later. Our server, Thomas was excellent and they even brought over her desert with a candle on it. It was an experience she will never forget and now our 7 year old son wants John Howie for his 8th birthday. Thank you everyone at John Howie Steak in Bellevue for making our evening fantastic.

Top steakhouse in the area! Amazing selection of Wagyu beef complimented by a wine list that 's second to none. Best sides are Mac 'N Cheese, Brussels Sprouts, and Tempura Fried Kurobuta Bacon. Loved the touch of the high-end Shun Laguiole steak knives to perfectly slice the delicious beef!

The food was phenomenal eclipsed only by the incredible, personalized service. I could sense a real dedication to preparing high quality and flavorful food married with a team of truly wonderful caring servers in an upscale stardust lounge atmosphere. Best chargrilled steak I’ve ever had creamy potato cakes that both crunched and melted in your mouth...we can’t wait to go back.

Ordered stuff from their vegetarian menu!! and was amazed how incredible the food was at a steak house!.impeccable service, great food on a beautiful Seattle night. Highly recommended
