Village Inn - Bellevue

Always a pleasure at the Village Inn. My wife had French toast with fruit and Turkish sausages. I had sausages with engraving and pancakes. Nothing like good home cooked Land Gravy. Seriously considered a piece of lemon cake but had to go!

The manager seated us promptly. Rebecca was attending to several tables, but she did an excellent job checking in with us and ensuring we had everything we needed. Our order was spot on. Despite being short-staffed, the team did an outstanding job serving every guest.

The restaurant was quite busy tonight, and it seemed like they were a little overwhelmed considering how few staff members they had. Despite this, the staff remained incredibly nice and friendly. Our server was fantastic—full of energy and very welcoming to my friend's kids. We all adored the fun enamel pins she wore. The food was excellent, and the workers were very accommodating. Overall, I definitely plan to return!

I really enjoy the food at VI. It seems they have a harder time finding permanent employees, which often leads to them being understaffed. During our visit on February 21, 2022, they were indeed short-staffed. Our food took a bit longer to arrive, around 16 minutes, but the limited staff did everything they could to provide the best service possible.

7/13/2022 my son to buy 3 pieces of cake and dawn that behind the counter was extremely rude, helped other customers while fill my order, and then continued to shake the boxes the discs were in. these were for a special occasion so that the large part of the French silk attached to the box because of their shaking it was very disappointing. the customer service here has been down a lot for years and has reminded me today why we no longer get to this location.
