Hong Noodle - Bellevue

My tonkotsu ramen was quite disappointing. It didn't even feel like authentic ramen.

Ordered a ramen and a kimchi nabe yesterday. Me and my wife’s stomach has been violently hurting since and has been over 24 hours. Bad

Better than expected, super easy and quick spot to grab a bite. Good price for what you get, I’d come back! The ramen has this smoky flavor which was good, sushi was flavorful, and the yakisoba was huge.

The portion size here was great, as you might expect from a ramen place. Nice large bowls.However the portion size hardly matters if the food isn’t up to par.Ramen stock has 2 elements. The stock of the animal bones (the primary flavor) and the fish stock to a smaller degree. The ramen I chose here should have had a deep rich pork bone flavor, but all you can taste is the fish stock. The fish stock overpowers all other flavors in our ramen.I can’t say that I’ll be returning to this location. Bummer.

I would definitely return to try some of the other dishes available here.
