Gateway Snack Shop - Bellevue

This charming deli/café is a hidden gem inside an office building. I work nearby and frequently come here for lunch. Everything is freshly made right in front of you with high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a diverse selection of breakfast and lunch options, including espresso, soups, sandwiches, and wraps. The only downside is that it gets quite busy during lunch, leading to some wait times since the owner is the only one preparing the food. However, I don’t mind the wait because the quality of what she serves is worth it. I really wish we had a place like this in my office building, run by her!

This is a fantastic little café to grab a bite to eat. It's quite convenient for employees in the same building and those working across the street, like me. The Korean woman who works there is incredibly friendly and treats all her customers with kindness. She takes orders quickly and efficiently. If you're tired of the food trucks, I recommend stopping by Gateway Café and telling Sonny (the lovely Korean lady) that Philip sent you. I highly recommend the salads and sandwiches. Enjoy your meal!

I’m not always the best at making my own lunches, and when I'm hungry, I can be less pleasant to be around and not very productive. Sunny runs this shop all by herself, and she is such a lovely person. The food is amazing, freshly made right in front of you with high-quality ingredients. However, she does get quite busy at times, and there have been occasions when she couldn't take my order during my lunch break. The simple solution? I go in early and store my food in the office fridge for later. The prices are quite reasonable, too. The place is small, and I really wish she could have some help, even just for a couple of hours each day.

This place is amazing! The owner is incredibly dedicated and puts a lot of effort into her work. Everything is made fresh at a great price. They offer a variety of options including sandwiches, soups, specialty coffees, fruits, and chips. It's just a short walk for me, and it really is a hidden gem. A big plus is that you can take your lunch out the back door and enjoy it in one of the Adirondack chairs on the deck. Even though it's located in an office building, you'll spot it right away when you walk in.

I had a French Dip there and didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was served hot and tasted great, with fresh ingredients. It's a fantastic spot for lunch. Now I can't wait to try their breakfast!
