I make sure to eat here at least once a month. China Sea offers typical East Coast style Chinese cuisine with average portion sizes and great value. The egg rolls are crispy with just the right amount of grease. The General Tso's chicken is very saucy, but delicious. The only thing I found to be overpriced in my opinion, is the crab Rangoon. I probably won't order it again. But overall, everything else on the menu was fantastic!
I recently tried the General Tso's chicken from China Sea and it was the best I've ever had. Many restaurants serve this dish well, but often the batter becomes soggy by the time it reaches your home or through delivery. However, at China Sea, the chicken was still crispy and delicious when it arrived and even after reheating the next day. The broccoli was slightly overcooked for my liking, but I didn't mind too much. They also make excellent fried rice.
I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have always had a good experience. However, I never thought to leave a review until something really good or really bad happened. Today, I visited and was pleasantly surprised to learn they had a Ccc mindest. It was my first time experiencing this, but the person at the register was very friendly and accommodating. Despite feeling a bit down from a long day at work, their kindness really lifted my spirits. This gesture alone will make me want to return. I'm not exaggerating when I say this restaurant is one of the top 2 Chinese restaurants in Pittsburgh for me. I am grateful to live near this place.
A typical Chinese take out place with some booth seating in front. All of your Chinese favorites are available. Decent prices, decent food. Doesn’t get too crowded. $10 minimum for credit card purchases. Located on busy Lincoln Avenue
I been going for years! At least 15years and the taste of the food haven't changed. China Sea is the only place I eat Chinese from and my children as well. No matter where I live or have lived I travel to get China Sea! Lol
