The pastry is really good and not too sweet. I really like the mango cake here, it has little pieces of mango and the cream is really light. The sponge is moist as well. The egg tart is a bit oily but very flavorful.The wait line is often long though.

Not my cup of tea. I saw a few reviews mentioning the same thing everything here is plain and just bland. I REALLY wanted to like this place, but I've stopped going. It's just a waste of money.I've tried literally everything, including the cakes, and I'm disappointed every single time. It's very consistently so very bland, probably very good for someone who likes chewing on a napkin, but I'll stick with Regent Bakery a block away or the Japanese bakery a couple of blocks away from Bellevue College both amazing.89 is good in that their stuff is low sugar and looks pretty. My daughter Emma took me here, yum is the Word. I've gone past here and not given them another thought... from now on I am going to be stopping by! What an amazing variety of pastries and breads. She has gotten me hooked on their spicy sausage roll. Also they have a Hazelnut muffin with a huge ball of Nutella in the middle. I could go on and on... just see what I am talking about...stop in and be prepared to make your taste buds happy !

The buns are delicious, and we always choose their tiramisu for birthday celebrations because it’s so good!
