La Sicilia Pizza Cafe - Belleville

The food was excellent, but I was not informed that they don’t accept credit cards, which was quite embarrassing when I took a client out for dinner. I rarely carry cash and rely on credit cards for everything. The waitress mentioned I could use their ATMs, but I don’t have a debit card. I couldn’t help but wonder how it would have been handled if my client had no cash on them. There was also a large group of about 15 people at the next table—who carries that much cash? I really don’t understand why they don’t accept credit cards. This disappointment has deterred me from returning, despite enjoying the food.

I've visited La Sicilia several times with friends, and we've enjoyed every meal. My personal favorite is the trip. The dining room is beautiful, and the prices are quite reasonable. I also appreciate that you can bring your own bottle. If you give this restaurant a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Food is from the hook best Italian food I ever eat. Location is always super busy atleast when in there. I grew up in Belleville, so I always order food. My only wish is that they start accepting credit cards, I mean, everything you order can cost up to $5 more if you don't bring cash with the ATM. I always use my credit cards for everything and his sad that many times die to eat there, but I don't just want to carry money on me. I mean, it's 2014 I don't understand why they don't accept credit cards.

Excellent. Zero atmosphere, but if you really know what good Italian food is, this is the place. Prices?? Dirt cheap. For example, just tonight 2/13/10 2 apps, 2 dinners, 2 desserts and coffee, $53. How can you beat that? And Leonard Marshall was there.

If you want great food at a great price, go to La Sicilia. We frequent Lu Nello's, Bella Italia, Bucco's, and the food here is JUST AS GOOD. The building itself does not compare, but the food is just as good and the prices are less than half those other places. No credit cards accepted, that tells you something, The Belmont is the only other place anywhere that doesn't take credit cards, you have to be real good not to take credit cards these days.
