Boneheads - Belleville

Their BBQ is fantastic, and their pimple chips are our absolute favorite. We can't go in there without ordering the fried pimple chips!

I visited this restaurant last weekend and tried half a plate of ribs, which came with coleslaw, rice pilaf, and a small portion of beans. The ribs were excellent and very tender, practically falling off the bone. Personally, I prefer my ribs with a bit more chew, but they were still quite tasty. The coleslaw was nothing special, but the rice and beans were enjoyable. Our server, Chelsea, was friendly and attentive, making sure my beer glass was always full. I will definitely return!

Next, I took the waitress’s recommendation for my main dish. I wanted to try the Texas Reuben, which is a traditional Reuben made with smoked brisket instead of beef. The waitress suggested the Prime Rib melt, which is only available occasionally. I have to say, I was extremely satisfied! It was loaded with tender meat, grilled onions, and melted cheese on Texas toast, accompanied by homemade chips. It was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back and try more of their smoked dishes. Enjoy!
