I never had a bad experience here. Great food and super friendly staff makes for a fantastic night out...minus kiddos. There was a picture of the lobster bisque that was perfect. The shrimps and grits were also prepared for perfection. Enjoy!

My family and I had dinner at The Back Porch to celebrate my wedding. We had an incredible time! The atmosphere is so romantic and sweet. If you are in history or historical houses, this is the place for you! The food was excellent, all enjoyed their meals. We even got a small wedding cake from the bakery of the restaurant and all said how much they enjoyed it! The staff was so friendly and attentive. Our waiter was great, so sweet. I would recommend this restaurant for a romantic evening or a special event. Thanks for making my wedding day even more special!

Upscale, inexpensive restaurant. For many years. It's worth the ride. Her lobsters Bisque and Canadian Cheddarsuppen are both very good. The menu is not extensive, but it has a beautiful variety of entrees. Service is good. Very recommended.

That was our first meal. 5 stars of the time we enter. Our waitress, Kelly, was wonderful. Upbeat knew the menu her personality made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The lamb hacks were ingeniously cooked for perfection and desert almond cake. Great food. We'll be back.

The staff is sincerely polite, the food is expertly prepared, slightly unexpected in presentation, and so delicious that you will eat long after your hunger is sated. Do not expect to weigh less the day after a dinner here, but do expect to long for the recipes and skill to try to recreate the meal in your own kitchen. It is not inexpensive, but you will thoroughly enjoy each morsel. I look forward to returning to enjoy this restaurant again. My meal: baked brie appetizer; bistro ribs, with Brussels sprouts and micro carrots, and salad; almond cake for dessert. And I'd order it again if I didnt want so badly to try something else!
