D's Victorian Teas - Bellbrook

It's definitely worth the trip! I noticed some previous reviews that were less than five stars, and I want to mention that it’s hard to see how anyone wouldn’t leave happy if they simply followed the straightforward guidelines. I think some guests may not have respected the space, as D and her husband have transformed their home into a cherished place that enriches the lives of many. To keep everything running smoothly, they ask that the number of parked cars outside be limited to five, which is understandable since it's in a residential neighborhood. Thankfully, there’s a grocery store just five minutes away, so it’s easy to drive over. Also, it’s best to leave the kids at home; there are many delicate items and antiques that they might be tempted to touch, and the atmosphere isn’t really suited for children. There’s no space for a car seat or stroller, and bringing a child along would not work in the setting of this tea party. The water for the tea is served almost boiling, and remember, this is a living room—not a playroom! Overall, it’s a WONDERFUL PLACE with AMAZING PEOPLE!!

What a wonderful memory we made this afternoon at D's Victorian Teas. My mother, 96 years old, her girlfriend 91, my granddaughter and I spent several hours enjoying the delicious food and sharing many stories and evoking this wonderful cuisine and their presentation. Darlene went the meal to our slower food (more time to enjoy the fabulous food), and we all loved our entire tea. In fact, I have booked another date to enjoy D's Victorian Teas in December, so we can enjoy the Christmas decoration and another excellent tea.
