Vegan Bites - Belize City

I had a really tasty meal with mushrooms, borons, various vegetables and a fantastic fried tofu. the father and daughter who cook together are really nice people. it is not a restaurant and her eating out styrofoam so that I personally found $30 too much of previous review updated on 2022-02-11

I found all this Vegan place like me many others, here on happy cow. it is simply a kiosk in the btl park. beautiful park with views of the Caribbean, so they have a wonderful view while eating to the sounds of many möwen. to eat. it was good, not great. I had the fried rice with cured tofu. the tofu was unfortunately overlaid and hard. but tasteful. I also had mosquitoes in a lemon sauce. That was better, but also a bit hard. the place was packed with a line of local vegans that was beautiful. all in all I will. e back with a hope is even better next time. the owners were wonderful.

A simple takeaway stand with incredible eating. mock meat and sweet all prepared in typical Caribbean style, but cruel!

Loved it! There's no menu, you just choose from what's being served that day. I got the pumpkin curry, kale coleslaw, and rice and beans all excellent. My husband got the lasagne and gave it two thumbs up. We tried a couple interesting juices and of course the chocolate and spice cakes. Service was nice and friendly and we found a shady picnic table in the back. Just what we were looking for!

Visiting from San Diego, I was thrilled to find a 100% vegan eatery in Belize City. Reuben told me that it was tough finding vegan food here, so he started his own restaurant.
