When I showed them proof of the reservation, they explained that OpenTable is managed by an external agency and they couldn't do much about it. While mistakes can happen, it would have been better if we could have worked together to find a solution. However, the server we spoke to was surprisingly rude, never apologized, and made it seem like it was our fault for using OpenTable for reservations.
We arrived at the restaurant only to find that they had not made a reservation for our table.
When we arrived at the restaurant on time (31.12.19 20:15), we were greeted with the question, "RESERVATION?". Despite having a confirmation from OpenTable for a reservation for 7 people under my name, the waitress simply replied with a dismissive "No, sorry." After insisting that we did have a reservation, she apologized again and then quickly disappeared to the second floor. Eventually, a gentleman escorted us to our table. It was disappointing to start off our New Year's Eve with such a chaotic experience trying to find a restaurant for a group of 7 in a busy city. Unfortunately, Bistro Grad Hometown will not be remembered fondly by us as we ushered in 2020.

When we arrived punctually, we were greeted in a very friendly manner with the words "RESERVATION?" Equipped with the OpenTable reservation confirmation, I made it clear that I have made reservations for people in my name. After a quick glance at her rancid notebook, the waitress wanted to end the conversation with the words "No, sorry." After I again held the confirmation in front of her nose, came another sorry, you could not do anything before she fled to the cane. Then a gentleman accompanied us to the door. On New Year's Eve, finding a restaurant with people in a crowded city was simply impossible, and so, on behalf of people, I would like to thank the Bistro Grad Hometown restaurant for a failed start to the year
