Brasserie La Reine Blanche - Belgie

We greatly appreciated the atmosphere and location of this very well located brewery within the Namur citadel. We were fast and well installed despite the fact that we came before the time of our reservation. The waiter was very friendly, a real native who advised us well in the dishes and drinks, we even had a few words in Walloon. He also explained that there are snack dishes and restaurant dishes on the menu. I took the Namurian carbonnade, a real delight and my wife, the Irish Angus, a piece of well-copying meat with a successful cooking. When I read the other reviews I'm a little surprised. I understand that sometimes the restorer can be overwhelmed, but we must also try to communicate on the spot because we are all human beings. We were located in the bottom of the second room and the brewery was filling very slowly, there was a family with children not far from us and another couple, everyone looked happy. Good brewery, but the staff seems a bit overwhelmed with the covid measures, approximate cleaning of the tables, slips that don't arrive, you have to ask for orders and addition several times to arrive. The pictograms on the tables do not seem to give enough information to potential customers, so that they go directly to the reception to give their coordinates (names and gsm) and that they are assigned a table.

We had a great time. Efficient service, with terrace to enjoy the sun. A little expensive but pleasant.
