The service was fabulous, but the food! Exceptional! Tasted great, beautifully presented, and great value! The next...day we popped back into the bar... Macklins.....what a great little spot! Ordered Paninis...which were well priced, and believe me...almost a full meal! Huge portions! This little gem of a hotel is a real find..close to downtown..the Hop On, Hop Off stoops across the street, the people are friendly and accommodating......loved it! If u r a fan of small intimate places, this is the place for u!
I was with a friend at the malone lodge, we are both vegan, so understandably were a little concerned that we would not have many options when we came to dinner. we were so pleasantly surprised to find that the waitress (I forgot to get her name, but he seemed like a manager and had blonde hair) was so incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. we had a delicious starter that was a fresh salad, deep fried falafel, truffle Il and pitta brot. then we had a delicious curry. when we came to the breakfast there was a large continental selection and we even got soy milk. the chef made us out of our own frit and it was also nice. could no longer recommend this place for service and food quality. Thank you!
I was in the hotel for business trips and used the grill for eating an evening the meal was huh and chips, and the chips were not cooked, so had to be returned. the huh was good, but the second round of the chips came too late. to eat with it. a total disappointing meal.
The hotel is located in a hotel this restaurant offers an average menu for an average price. nothing wrong and nothing special
Stay in the hotel and dinner in the restaurant. the food was delicious and fresh. our server, owen, was great and had many great suggestions to visit places while in belfast, especially the whole game the enthralled spots!
