Tesco - Belfast

Such an awful shopping experience today...manageress vv unhelpful...10 people at every checkout...waiting now 30.mins...twrrible 3 15 now...

Oh my goodness, this is one to avoid! This used to be a lovely little cafe, then it had some sort of makeover, new seat and tables etc. but in the change they lost all the charm, personality, food quality and customer service!! Bring back the old cafe! I have given this place several chances to redeem itself, but it has actually gotten worse each time. Do not under any circumstances order fried food, it take forever to come, they should not offer Ulster frys if they can only cope with one at a time, the toast takes fifteen minutes at least, the tea is tasteless and the staff look harassed and totally disinterested in their work. I for one will not be back, Tesco needs to get on board with this and see what can be done to improve it, I think it is run by an outside company who should be ashamed of themselves.

Like Tesco elsewhere in UK and in the Republic of Ireland this Tesco is well-stocked and nicely organized. One can find all one needs during a visit to Belfast. Since I travel on a tight budget I prefer making my own breakfast as well as picnic lunch and only go out for dinner so Tesco is great to get the things I need for my meals.

Very convenient for posting parcels and doing some shopping at the same time. A good variety of food and other items available at affordable prices.

The food, a fry and a bowl of chicken soup, were good, hot and served with a smile. But possibly due to understaffing or bad timing of breaks, we waited at the till while the one person there, having served the previous customer, did their coffees, went out to deliver them, came back, got some other stuff and delivered that, all the while acting like we weren 't there. Close to walking out. But when he did serve us, he was pleasant, helpful, and all was good. Just a bit strange to be ignored. No, Be with you shortly or anything. After that the food came quickly, was hot and tasty, except the sausages, which were very bland. Can 't complain about the food or the price. but tables weren 't cleared and what seems like good people just need a little customer service pointers.
