French Village Botanic - Belfast

The place was great, friendly staff. The menu was a bit limited but nice. I little pricey but would go back. Good outside area for sitting.

Really disappointed, I used to love French village botanic. The menu now is more limited, no chunky chips! The beef mac and cheese had a really watery sauce not what you expect from a mac n cheese. Single use plastic glasses and take away containers...even inside, but real cutlery, makes no sense. Service and staff really gone downhill Miss the pre covid french village

Decided to try french village with family for a takeaway lunch, and we will certainly not return. We had looked up the menu on google before our arrival and had chosen our food a specific sandwich which we had hoped to try. When we...arrrived, we asked the man at the till for the sandwich and he bluntly replied ‘Ive just told you , you can’t have that- the menu is in front of you’ totally rude and abrupt staff! We work in the hospitality industry and that was totally horrific that staff were talking to customers in this way! We left without any food as we felt totally embarrassed having been talked to so horribly. We do not recommend. french village- update your online menu as it seems it’s out of date and your staff need to learn some customer service skills!

Eating was very good and well dimensioned portioning, my only output was served 3 of the 4 people and 1 of us had another 10 minutes waiting for the other lunch. I know it's not a big thing, but it leads to eat 1 person alone or the other 3 wait until all food arrived and their cold go.

Fw was welcome for us as lunchtime drop-in customers. eating was good, variety good, service good, ambiente good. but a tad expensive. will I have come back?
