Medium Rare Steakhouse

This is really the best steak on the whole Island of Mauritius! It melted right away on my tongue after a bite, soooo delicious!

Nice cosy place to eat, chill and do some light work on iPad. Even though it does not appear as a choice for a vegan meal they do have great mushrooms with garlic that can be made vegan. And their chili paste is amazing. Remember to ask for it on side of whatever you order! Also ask for lemon in your water. P.S. I have been told that steak there is amazing if you like it medium rare. Pun intended.

Found the place by chance while visiting the west coat of the island. One of the best ribs i had in years. The rib was cooked well (not mushy) and the glaze tangy. The steaks were done perfectly and were tender. A great reminder of the good steak houses in Cape Town. Would highly recommend the place.

One hour for your food to arrive is unacceptable, no matter the excuse. The restaurant was obviously overbooked and understaffed. Many customers were complaining of the long wait. The food was delicious but pity we had dinner at nearly 10pm.

The food and the service were exactly what I was looking for! I haven't had the whole menu yet. Hoping to do that before the year is out!
