The Mint Room - Bel Air

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today. We ordered the tandoori chicken, garlic naan, chicken vindaloo, and butter chicken. Everything was delicious, and the tamarind sauce was my favorite. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, answering all our questions. He recommended the vindaloo for my husband, who loves spicy food, and he was very pleased with it. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant, as it is now our go-to spot for delicious Indian cuisine!

The Indian food at this restaurant is excellent, served in a classy and comfortable atmosphere. There are many delicious naan options to choose from, including the lamb-filled naan we tried. It was accompanied by two flavorful dipping sauces: a slightly spicy green sauce and a slightly sweet brown sauce (possibly tamarind). Both were perfectly done! We also enjoyed the samosa chaat, a dish I had never heard of before but highly recommend. The perfectly prepared veggie samosa was topped with a fragrant, complex, and delicious sauce with chickpeas. Dining in is definitely worth it to experience the food freshly prepared.

I absolutely adore dining at this restaurant! The food is scrumptious and the service is exceptionally friendly. I particularly enjoy the buffet, but the option to order off the menu is also fantastic and intriguing.

The food was average. The service was extremely slow. I had higher expectations for the food based on recommendations from others. I was let down when I asked for my dish to be made spicy and it had no spice at all. It lacked flavor, but I wouldn't say it was terrible, just uninteresting.

My wife and I went out for lunch on Sunday and tried the buffet, which was amazing. There were plenty of vegetarian options which we enjoyed. Although we don't eat meat frequently, we decided to try a small piece of the goat and found it to be delicious. We are excited to return soon. The service, meal type (lunch), and atmosphere all received a rating of 5. The price per person is $10-20.
