Very delicious cakes and a great black coffee. They also have bread, but I didn't try. The staff is friendly and the place cozy.
Not bad. But in any case not a fan of bread based items like zaatar manouche, sourdough bread, etc. Because it is gluten-free, the consistency of their bread is super strange and not chewing. However, I liked the chocolate cake from chickpea flour. It exceeded expectations and we order it again for upcoming birthdays. Prices are high, but this is to be expected in Beirut and for such ingredients.
Healthy, natural gluten-free food served with a smile. After we visited them with my two children three times a week, we found most of their foods, especially the Zaatar Man'oosh and other economical options to be fantastic, our special trip is worth it. Their cakes and dark chocolate offerings were also really good, but I would skip their bigger cakes and Eclairs; better taste and texture in the smaller pieces. Oh, and Mariam was very friendly and gracious, especially for my children.
Bakery specialising in gluten/lactose free products. Also have some vegan options. Pros: 1.Gluten and lactose free everything 2. High quality ingredients 3. Pretty tasty too Cons: 1. Pricey 2. No espresso/cappuccino/caffè latte 3. Limited savoury items Bottom line: A definite lifesaver for people with special dietary needs. Pretty expensive for everybody else. If you consider only the quality of ingredients and the taste of products, it's a sure 5 Stars. The prices are rather high, and I imagine producing a gluten/lactose free line of products is not going to be cheap in Beirut. Customers with specific dietary needs would find this place a blessing... they would definitely get more than they paid for. For others, value for money would be a concern.
