More like a family run cafe than a professional restaurant but the staff and owners are nice enough. Don't expect much from the wine list as it is pretty average and prices are very high for the quality and selection. Location is really good and the outdoor area is excellent for breakfast on a sunny spring morning. Coffee is good.
Three friends enjoyed a fabulous brunch at Ravello E Positano on Sunday morning, starting with great coffee, followed by omelettes and eggs Benedict with salmon, all delicious. We enjoyed chatting for an hour or two and enjoyed more coffee before being on our way. Service very good and friendly, and reasonably quick, in a beautiful old building, the old Beecroft Post Office. Easy street parking or only minutes walk to the train station. We thoroughly recommend this little restaurant, despite some unfavourable reviews.
This is a great little local Italian restaurant. They do breakfast, lunch & dinner. We frequent this restaurant & enjoy the food, the atmosphere & the staff. Even though some of them seem a little serious, they are actually quite humorous & always helpful & friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We often bring friends or just pop in randomly. They have lovely Italian music playing which is relaxing & takes me back to Italy! And they do a good coffee! Love coming here
I live in Beecroft and am embarrassed by this restaurant. The owner, who pretends he is Italian but isn't, also had an interest in Positanos Pizza place down the road where you could once get a pretty good feed but it is now closed as a result of sheer incompetence. But back to Ravello. I have been to Ravello in Italy and let me tell you, this restaurant is as far removed in style and cuisine as you could ever hope to be from the real deal. There were four of us for dinner and none of the dishes aspired to be anything more than pedestrian. Really, the food is so ordinary it defies belief. The sooner this venue, which was once the old post office, is taken over by someone who respects food, the better. If you come here for lunch or dinner, don't say you weren't warned.
I haven't been here for a long time but decided to try somewhere close to come! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was veal. Fresh vegetables accompanied our mushroom and white wine veal plus potato. The gelato to follow was excellent! Atmosphere was good although I am told when the restaurant is full it is quite noisy, tonight however was fine!
