Tanswells Commercial - BEECHWORTH

The restaurant maintained the historic charm of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere had a distinctly Australian feel. We enjoyed the fish and chips and steak sandwich.

Beechworth is a charming country town with a pub on almost every corner. All of them offer a decent place to relax and have a nap, but they vary in terms of amenities and atmosphere.

Great atmosphere. Great tasting food and friendly staff

Service was okay but menu was very disappointing. I had looked up the menu online in advance and already chosen what I was going to have. When we got there the menu available was only a small selection of the menu on the website and even then, two of the items on this menu were unavailable so there were hardly any options and honestly nothing i really liked. We did end up ordering something each and the food was okay, not anything spectacular. I’d really been looking forward to what i’d originally picked though so a little disappointed
