Hibernian Beechworth

This is a typical pub, but the food exceeded my expectations! I ordered the roast pork with crackling, and it was cooked to perfection. I also tried the pork chop with balsamic and maple reduction, which was excellent! To top it all off, we enjoyed the lemon cheesecake, and I can honestly say it was the best cheesecake I've ever had!

Overall, the staff were very friendly. I ordered the Chef's Special Grilled Salmon, and it was absolutely amazing! The vegetables and chips served as sides were also significant contributors to the meal. The only reason I’m giving it one star less is because the dessert and ice cream were just average. However, if I visit Beechworth again, I will definitely return to this restaurant! The dish was truly outstanding!

The staff were friendly, and our meals were delicious. It's a classic pub with a fantastic atmosphere. We will definitely return!

Great pub feed on Parmi night (Thursday) Food was tasty, fresh and well portioned. I had the Italian Parmi and my husband had the English Parmi. Both delicious and good value. Enjoyed our Parmi’s with a bottle of local wine which was also well priced. Friendly and helpful staff too!

This is a great country pub, clean, welcoming and the service is impeccable, I had a chicken parma, which was up there with the best I've ever had, but my reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that it was the smallest parma I've ever had. Essentially half a parma, but I'll definitely go there again for the other half.
