I had hoped to enjoy a nice lunch, but I was left feeling disappointed. We were seated in a small booth, and since there were three of us, it felt cramped. After some effort, we finally found someone to ask about moving to a larger booth, and she agreed and started cleaning it. However, after she wiped the table, I pointed out that there was food on the booth and asked her to clean it as well since we didn’t want to sit in someone else’s mess. She did wipe it down but left us with a damp seat and missed half of the food stuck on the side of the booth. Her attitude was quite unpleasant. I ended up using my napkin to clean up the mess that should have been taken care of in the first place. The table was also left sticky and wet, which added to my dissatisfaction. By this point, I was already feeling disheartened. When our food arrived, it was just okay—not great at all. My enthusiasm had completely waned. It seems like they don’t really care about their business, and as a result, I won’t be returning.
The League is decent. Like many restaurants, they seem to be understaffed, which leads to an overworked staff. As a result, the service is lacking and the timing of the food can be off. This ultimately diminishes the overall experience. Even establishments facing challenges should consider closing off certain sections if they cannot adequately serve their customers.
