Ate in rather than takeout for the first time last night. The bibimbap was amazing! The pork dumplings are good too. Beyond that, the service was very good. The lady that helped us seemed run off her feet though, so perhaps hiring some more staff would be helpful. Oh, and ko-ko chicken is the bomb.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times based on excellent reviews. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Some of the dishes we have enjoyed include jjambong (spicy seafood noodle soup), gan jajang (black bean noodle), and Ko-Kohu. We also received sea bass sushi caught by the owner that morning, which was absolutely delicious and provided on the house.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area, offering a menu featuring both sushi and traditional Korean dishes. I tried the seafood gan jjajang, served with pickled radishes, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was quick and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
It was too hot to cook at home tonight, so we decided to go out and try something new. We chose to give Let's Ko a try. I must say, I am unsure how to rate my experience there. Based on our visit, I would give it a 3.5/5, but I will round up to 4 stars. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The menu looked appetizing and prices were reasonable. It was our first time, so we took some time to decide what we wanted to try. Our waitress was friendly, but seemed a bit rushed when taking our order. We started with a French bone appetizer. I ordered a sushi plate, my wife had bibimbap, and my daughter ordered the BBQ Eel and Alaska Roll combo. My meal came with Miso soup and a side salad, which was fresh but had a mild dressing. The soup was tasty, but lacked tofu. We did not receive any plates for our appetizer, so we just ate directly from the serving plate. My wife's bibimbap had purple spots on the egg, which was well done instead of the usual soft yolk. The waitress explained it was from the seasoning, and offered a replacement egg cooked to her preference. I would suggest that the waitress ask customers how they prefer their eggs cooked when ordering a dish with an egg on top. Despite some small issues, the waitress was attentive and pleasant. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and nice decor. Overall, I believe Let's Ko has potential and we felt welcomed there. Despite some disappointments, I would recommend giving this place a try as our experience may have been an outlier. It was a tough decision, but I was torn in my assessment due to these various factors.
