A great tasting well crafted sandwich bursting with flavor. Highly recommend the street bob the local sheriff in town endorses the pear salad gave me his stamp of approval on my choice of eatery.
Absolutely delicious! The best sandwich I've had in years, and as a Philadelphia area resident, I've had fair share of hoagies amd sandwiches. I had the Street Bob and my husband had the Studebaker...both absolutely amazing! A lot of meat, fresh toppings, and perfect ciabatta. Desperately wishing we had a Nick's back home because it would be a staple stop for us. Come here anytime you're in town, you won't regret it!
I got The Studebaker and it was the best sandwich I 've had in a very long time. Service was quick, staff were very nice. I 'll definitely be back.
What’s the point of travel if you eat in the same chain places you have at home? We left Rt 70 to try Nick’s and it proved to be a gem. This takeout only counter is one of the ventures of local chef and restauranteur Nick Letzo and these are above average sandwiches! We ordered the Bedford (tuna), a Mr. Ray’s (turkey) and the Magnolia (tomato mozzarella). Does Nick make his own bread? If not, where does he get it?? The ciabatta, the baguette and especially the rosemary focaccia were excellent — soft and flavorful but held up to the sandwich fillings, which were exactly enough but not overstuffed (overstuffed sandwiches are over-rated). Surely he makes his own pesto mayo and chipotle lime mayo? The fillings were well seasoned and the orders came in bags personalized with our names, so cute. Bedford itself looks like a great little town with all sorts of interesting shops and a museum. I wish we’d had more time to explore, but I’m glad we made time for Nick’s.
