They even did separate gluten free gravy. Generous portions and good service. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back.
We are a group of people who are taken from home to various pubs and other venues and the place today was the Three Compasses. The pub does not normally open on a weekday lunchtime, so was opened for this group and was offering a restricted menu. The choice of four starters, mains and desserts were on offer. All the food was good and we had some excellent beer on tap. I had a pint of Tribute and a couple of glasses of wine.all members of the group commented on how well we were treated . Thanks Adam,I am sure we will return.
Came to The Three Compasses on a Saturday for a family lunch. Greeted by a very friendly owner who remembered when I booked 2 weeks prior, I had enquired about gluten free options. Was given the choice of where to sit in the pub pub itself is quaint and has a lovely feel to it. My husband was very impressed with the good selection of ales namely Tim Taylors Landlord Tribute. They had a separate gluten free menu and were very accommodating letting me know that the gluten free food is done in a separate fryer. Gluten free fish and chips were made to order and my family enjoyed the rest of the “gluten” menu. The GF fish and chips were delicious. I had the GF Chocolate Brownie to finish which again was excellent. We will 100% be returning here.
Lovely traditional pub with plenty of parking, good beers and great food. Staff were polite, friendly and accommodating.
This is a gem of a country pub. Friendly landlord who served both drinks and food. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxing. The food was excellent as was the service. Well worth a trip out there.
