The Tamarind - Bedford

Very small (35 cover) restaurant. very clean, charming staff and eating was excellent. What is that?

The only thing better than the service is eating! we went for a meal only four days after the opening on a Friday night and it was a fantastic experience. in any case among the best Indian food we've ever had. a large part of the food is cooked by the family and it shows amazing wobble bhaji and house made samosa. had the chicken chill masala that comes on a sizzler plate and was fantastic. super tasteful, only the right amount of flavor. although we had not dessert (too full! they seemed to have a much more extensive and tempting choice than most Indian restaurants are known. it is also worth commenting on the service that the owner could have served us himself and had not been more gracious or more attentive. it was time to talk to us about eating and the restaurant without being intrusive. we will be back!

Absolutely fantastic eating and service. highly recommended to eat here. the taste in the kitchen is amazing. ripon always greets them with open poor like family. child-friendly, always great. keep the big service.

Excellent food and exceptional service. they prepared a special vegetarian meal that was not even on the menu for me. there are many Indian restaurants in bedford, but this comparison with none of the others.
