Mangal Bbq - Bedford

I’ve been looking for a local charcoal grill since moving to Wootton and I was given a recommendation to try this place, I did not disappoint! I order a special, all the meats cooked fresh over hot coals, Turkish rice and pilaf, salad, home made chilli sauce, haloumi cheese (added extra) the portion was very generous, it all tasted great and even the lamb was tender which I find a rarity for takeaways (usually cheap stringy fatty cuts of lamb are used but this was not the case). I was pleasantly surprised to find that I knew the owner of this shop from a previous takeaway in Bedfordshire, he’s a nice guy. The ladies working working with him were also helpful and friendly. Good service all around and I look forward to my next visit.

Me and my wife have tried both the fish and meat platters. What can I say they were both amazing. By far the best takeaway we have had in a very long time

Eaten here twice as takeaway and its very tasty. Would like an option of mixed kebab with some doner but apart from that. Good salad, sauces and flatbread also. Thanks

Absolutely Delicious. The food was fresh and piping hot. Very Succulent meat and the flavours were very appetizing, couldn't stop eating, even, when I was full. The location of Mangal BBQ is a little hidden inside Springfield Centre, but when you get there, you can smell the aroma of the BBQ. That was one of the reasons why I went there, and I am glad I did. It is food I will keep going back to, as it is so fresh

Tasty and very satisfying food. The Meat is so well balanced with flavour, unlike other Turkish places that are quite salty. The Meze Salad is fresh and delicious and the Best I have tasted in the town. I recommend this place 100
