The Char - Beckley

I have dined here for both business meetings and personal occasions, and I highly recommend trying their steak, crab cakes, salads, and tiramisu. If you happen to be traveling southbound on the WV Turnpike, don't hesitate to make a pit stop at this fantastic restaurant!

Vintage Atmosphere Known to the Locals Very difficult to find, but Well, worth the trip. Service was 5 star. I recommend the Bree cheese appetizer The salmon was done to perfection. Look forward to my next visit. One of the best meals I've ever had. The staff is incredible and the food is delicious. The service, atmosphere, and recommended dishes all receive top marks. This is a great place for a dinner outing with a price range of $50-100 per person. Parking is ample with both free parking lot and valet options available.

I am giving this restaurant 4 stars because I work in the service industry and have respect for small businesses. The service was average and the food was not good. It was a bit of a stretch to call this fine dining. The menu descriptions were lacking and they did not have a cocktail list. They need to do better. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
