Auberge Godefroy - Bécancour

If you are looking for a peaceful, elegant place to dine just outside Trois-Rivieres, I highly recommend this beautiful hotel restaurant. My family gathered here for four nights at the Auberge Godefroy Hotel & Spa. We found a friendly atmosphere, helpful staff, great food, and activities for everyone.

This is a review of the restaurant of the hotel Auberge Godefroy. This is not the first time that we ate at this restaurant. And we are absolutely amaze by the quality of food and service that this restaurant delivers. This restaurant is a 5+. We also ate on the terrace

The restaurant has a pub style atmosphere with a menu that is almost identical to the main dining room. There are plenty of TVs scattered around the establishment. It can get a bit noisy when it's crowded. The food and service are both good.

I was extremely disappointed by the restaurant "Le Balzac". The main dining area was full so we decided to eat at the bar since the menu was similar. Unfortunately, the food was low quality and overpriced. The fish tasted like it was frozen and not fresh at all, and the tartare sauce seemed to be store-bought. Considering the price and reputation of the restaurant, this was unacceptable. The fries were also overly salty. I would not recommend this place. It's a shame because everything else in this hotel is absolutely perfect (I will leave a separate review for the hotel).

We had the four services diner and we were delighted. Each service was very good and up to the level of the other ones. Not only food is very good but service at the tables is attentive and courteous.
